Product Description
The Templar Helmet made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. The overall flattening of the helm continued until, toward the end of 12th century, it became more common to see a flat-topped helm, tapering outward from the wearer's head to the top. A knight carved in stone from the Church of St. Justina in Padua wears a helm of this form with a rounded shape and pierced facemask. In these transitional helmets we see the beginnings of the great helm. Our Templar Helmet is a flat Top Transitional Helmet that was in use from the 3rd to the 5th Crusades. From approximately 1190 AD to 1250 AD. Our version is made of high carbon steel and is fully wearable. This helmet is perfect for Ren Fairs, performances or to add to your collection!
