Ryumon Folded Dragon Tanto (Black)

Its hard to tell how nice something is online until you buy it. This, for the price, is a very well made Tanto, far beyond what it is sold for- quality wise. Beautiful blade as well. No complaints here...

I haven't even bought it yet, I'm just rating five stars to get the rating higher because I know it's going to be amazing.

I bought this tanto as an afterthought to another katana I purchased from SOTE, and when it arrived, I couldn't believe how absolutely stunning the level of attention went into it. I don't own any "display" swords but this ryumon tanto went directly onto my only stand, replacing a katana 6 times its worth. The layering of the blade is beautiful and the overall fit of the hardware is excellent. I suggest you buy two tho, maybe one of each color. I need another one for my other hand...

Not dissapointed with my purchase what-so-ever! The moment I picked it up out of the box and it's plastic protective wrapping, I whiped the oil off, revealing this gorgeous faint hamon. The blade threatened to penetrate my flesh when I felt it's edge so I can say with utmost certainty that it comes fully sharpened, sharper and increadibly sturdy for it's price. Just for the quality, I wouldn't have minded throwing another 50 bucks on it. Deffinately a must-buy for any collection. ^-^

Really nice blade, tip was a little dinged up. A few mins & a file & it looks Awesome. will run a few tests on the blade see how it holds up.. Nice.. 4 the price..

There were a little complications at first, but the SOTE team is great when dealing with customers! When the original item I ordered was out of stock, they gave me a list of items I could replace the original item I purchased, some up to $20 dollars more than I had paid for! I requested this tanto however, because it looked like a great item to add to my collection... It is GREAT! It's pretty sharp although you might want to sharpen it just a little to bring out its true potential. Fast shipping and great customer service, I'll be back and I'll be recommending this site to a lot of friends! Thanks SOTE

first time buyer love this tanto the reason for the 4 rating is the blade has some small imperfections nothing i can not fix with a good stone

I was amazed at the quality of this Tanto, for this price it is an exceptional buy. All parts fit very well the blade is very sharp and looks awsome, and thats a word I seldom use.

This is my favorite tanto. The folded steel blade looks incredible. I have a few katana, and this black tanto is so good looking it makes an excellent pair to any black katana. Really sharp blade too.
