The Ume Blossom Sword is a beautiful collectors grade sword. The Shinogi Zukuri Blade is hand forged from Tamahagane steel. Japanese traditional hardening is used, and the blade is polished with a billowing wave pattern. The hand crafted metal fittings are solid sterling silver and feature an Ume Blossom design. This sword has an antique iron tsuba. It is 300 year old example of authentic Japanese craftsmanship. The tsuka, or handle, is 11.5" long and made from hardwood with a cream stingray cover and brown leather wrap. The 23" tsuba is made from Ho wood with red and black gradient lacquer. It has a brown silk Sageo. This is a special order item, please allow 14 business days for delivery.
