Gun experts often refer to fit and finish of the weapon under review. How appropriate these terms are for this magnificent katana. The sword components are crafted from the finest of materials and masterfully assembled into a result that is aesthetically and functionally pleasing. Holding the katana takes my breath away. The hamon is very impressive, but what blew me away was the weight of the sword; it has plenty of heft but is so well balanced as to be quite manageable. This is no doubt the toast of my modest collection.

This katana is really as much of a work of art as anything I have ever seen. I am a long time sword lover and have about 15 different samurai swords, and this is my pride and joy. It feels incredible and powerful when you hold it in your hand. Really a great sword.

I have collected several swords through the years, and trained in kenjutsu in Tokyo, as well as judo and kendo. I've been involved in martial arts and weapons my whole life, and this has to be one of the nicest quality swords I have ever handled. I have even handled an original Shinto owned by a famous kabuki studio family. I love the mekugi and the quality of the steel used for the sword. 5 stars from me!
