The Ocean Citadel Katana is a limited edition katana. Every part of this sword is completely handmade, down to the tsuba. Only 100 of these weapons are made before the model is retired. Each sword is signed with the smith's name and the sword number. This ocean themed katana has a decorative wave tsuba a turbulent water fuchi and kashira. The 28" 1075 high carbon steel blade is hand forged and differentially hardened. The blade is hand polished using powders and stones. This katana is very well balanced, and features a full length bo-hi. It runs through the copper habaki to the nakago. The tsuka is carved specifically for each sword for a tight fit. It has a full same-gawa wrap. The handle is wrapped in beautiful Japanese natural white silk that is dyed with tea, and will darken over time. The deep blue saya is lacquered and has a sting ray wrap. The saya is carved for each sword individually for a perfect fit.
