Product Description

The Dokuji Nami katana is contuining the Thaitsuki tradition featuring a hand forged and folded high carbon steel blade with 1024 layers, this is among the upper echelon for the sword collector.  Pure silver fittings with a Nami motif as well blue silk over ivory rayskin tsuka round out this stunning katana.

Clay tempered and water quenched blade (HRC 60-35)
Hand polished with excellent hada

Brass fuchi/kashira with Nami motif
Black silk and black rayskin wrapped tsuka
Red gloss finish saya with silver shinto DoMe, black silk sageo and buffalo horn koiguchi

I just got this sword in the mail today and I am very pleased with it. This sword not only looks amazing but it is extremely sharp! This sword truly exceeded my expectations! I will be doing business with SOTE again!

This Katana is EVERYTHING as advertised! A brilliant sword with an unbelievable edge, as found out by a co-worker when he wanted a picture with it. i told him not to touch the edge of the blade, but he did, and so the cut to his thumb... Now he believes within the edge of this katana. It is a weapon, and should not be drawn anymore than a gun should be, unless one must use it. It is that good. And real. Whatever I shall meet within the future, this katana shall cut it. Randy
