The Yuki is hands down our best mat cutter at an affordable rice range. With its short point of balance, thin wide blade, and 3 sided Samgakdo design, the blade is extremely fast and helps you make precise cuts. Whether you are cutting Wara Tatami or Tatami Omote the blade has almost no resistance when the edge alignment is correct which makes it a dream to cut with. Trick cuts are extremely easy to perform and many times the mat is still standing after the cut is made which is a really great part about the katana. In short, this sword is a dream to cut with, with a price that can't be beat!

The Yuki is also our first Korean sword from the Munetoshi line. It has a simplistic Ko Geung Ee (hand guard) and no Kalbe (side) profile, much like hira zukuri Japanese swords. It also has a cotton Gamge (cord wrap) and a real Same (ray skin). Its low profile paired with its spring temper make it a high performance mat cutter.

Blade: The blade is constructed from through hardened high carbon steel drawn to a spring heat treat in a three sided Samgakdo (hira zukuri) style. A straight aesthetic hamon is along the ha of the sword.
The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
Kaljip: The Kaljip features a glossy black lacquered finish and bull horn Ip. The Kumn Ok is black cotton.
Kal Jaru : The Ko Geung Ee is blackened steel in a cut out design. The Kal Jaru features two smoked bamboo Sum Be-Gum Ong. The Gamge is black chemical fiber. The Sage is white ray skin. The Duitum Egi and Apm Egi are antiqued alloy in a simplistic style.
