Had this sent to the UK arrived in around 14 days which is to be expected had no problems getting though customes when i got the sword it was amazing one of the nicest swords i have seen i would recommand not only this sword but swords of the east as well great contact from the supplyer when asking question before and after pruchase

I just purchased this sword and it is a beautiful sword with a great looking saya. It is sharp and cuts through tatami mats like they were butter. I am very impressed with this sword. It came quickly from Swords of the East. I finally got to do a little cutting with it and I love it. It's a great sword for decoration, cutting or both. Everything is tight and there are no rattles in the saya. Ryumon definitely makes a great sword and I will buy from SOTE again.

This is my first Ryumon and I'll admit I was pleasantly surprised by this sword. The appearance of the blade is striking with its natural hamon. Since this sword is strictly for display in my office, I'm not too concerned about sharpeness but it seems pretty sharp and consistent along its length. The saya really grabs your attention too and looks great on the display stand.
I also like the fact that the sword is not stamped CHINA. Not that I have anything against China, but everyone associates samurai swords with Japan and it would seem silly to have a samurai sword stamped CHINA.
Shipping was super-fast from SOTE. I ordered it on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday! This sword is definately one of my favorites.
