credit card orders on our website. Shipping is $29.99 for Canadian orders of 1-4 swords with 1-2 stands or other accessories. If you want to make a larger order please call us at 1-877-704-3600 OR 843-475-3527 for a shipping quote or email sales@swordsoftheeast.com. There are NO restrictions to ship swords to Canada.
If you need a shipping quote please email sales@swordsoftheeast.com and we can get you the best price. Please select your appropriate shipping method on the checkout screen.
If you are from another country the flate rate of $99.00 applies. If you feel this is too expensive please email us at help@swordsoftheeast.com and for some coutries we may be able to get you a less expensive rate. However, for most international orders that is a very cheap rate as these are in large boxes with a lot of packaging material. There is no minimum order for international orders

Please be aware that there may be customs fees or other fees charged by your country to pickup the merchandise that is delivered. Swords of the East is not responsible in any way for any additional fees that your particular country may charge at pickup. Some countries may have customs departments that require you to present import license papers. If you cannot present appropriate paperwork your sword(s) may not be able to be delivered to you. Please contact sales@swordsoftheeast.com with any questions.
If you REFUSE delivery due to associated costs at your local customs department or for ANY OTHER REASON, Swords of the East is NOT responsible for the fees associated with returning the sword to us. We are also NOT responbile for the ABANDONMENT fees that will be charged by UPS. In this case YOU the customer are fully responsible for the original shipping charges PLUS the RETURN shipping fees back to us PLUS the ABANDONMENT fees. You will be credited back the total cost of your order MINUS the original shipping charges to you and then MINUS the return shipping charges by UPS to return the sword to us and then MINUS the ABANDONMENT fees.
We accept Western union checks,
cash transfers, or PayPal payments from CONFIRMED PayPal members. We do NOT accept foreign credit card orders except from Canada and the United Kingdom.

Registering
You do not need to register or log in to make a purchase. Your tracking information will be updated within 24 hours and sent to you via the email address on file.
Shipping   
All swords over $300 USD include free standard shipping to Continetal United States addresses, otherwise a flat rate of $9.95 will apply.
Orders going to
Overnight shipping is available on domestic orders in most cases if the order is recieved prior to 2pm EST. Your order will arrive on the next business day with overnight shipping. We do NOT deliver on Saturday unless you make a special request in the comment section of your order (additional charges will apply).
International Orders - We can ship to most all countries outside of the USA.
Special note for Australia - we ship there regularly and do accept paypal for Australian orders.
Swords Of The East and Cook Ecommerce, LLC take no responsibility legally or financially for items siezed by government or government officials, order at your own risk. International orders returned to us may be subject to a 15% restock fee.
Our shipping calculator will work for Canadian and European shipments, others should email us for a shipping quote. For the most part, this shipping calculation will be accurate. However, in the case of a very large or heavy order you may hit the upper limit of our cart calculation. This is $48 for Canada & $99 for Europe. If this happens your shipping cost may be a bit higher. If it is more than $10 higher than the cost displayed, we will email you before processing your order. This can also happen on orders that must be shipped in multiple boxes. Some countries have maximum acceptable package sizes for air mail shipments (notably - Australia and most of Eastern Europe), so longer items may need to ship by a different carrier, and will affect the shipping cost. If this is the case we will contact you before processing your order.
Also please note: We can not undervalue your shipments on the customs forms, or mark your shipment as a gift in an attempt to get out of paying any taxes that are legally due. Doing so is illegal and can cause us serious problems as an Importer / Exporter.
Please note : We will NOT ship to Alternate addresses for orders over $350.00. Orders over $350 will be shipped to the BILLING address on your credit card unless you (the customer) provide proof that the alternate address is registered with your credit card company as a VALID shipping address. Returns to us from these types of shipments due to non-acceptance or non-delivery will be charged a 15% restocking fee by our company. NO exceptions!
Transit Times
Most in-stock items will ship out same day or within 24 hours and you will be sent an email with your tracking number at that time.

Return Policy
Please note cancellations for orders AFTER they are placed may still be subject to 15% restocking/cancellation fees.
We are truly interested in your full satisfaction, and will make every effort to accommodate returns under the following guidelines.
Please NOTE: All images on the website may not match exactly to the sword that you receive. We make every effort to keep our images up to date but manufacturers will OFTEN make slight changes to product lines without notifying us and therefore some swords may arrive slightly different than our images depict.
Guarantee/Returns/Cancellations
We pride ourselves in carrying high quality items and we hope that you will be pleased with your order. We want you to be 100% happy with your sword!
If you need to return something, please send an email to help@swordsoftheeast.com within 5 days of receiving your order for authorization on a return. Please do NOT send any item back without first contacting us for an authorization number and the proper shipping address. We ship out of multiple fulfillment centers and most items should NOT be sent back to our corporate offices in Rhode Island.
We will accept authorized returns (minus shipping) if we are contacted within 5 days of your order arrival as long as the items are unused and in the original packaging. Please note it is at our discretion on all orders whether they are returnable items.
By chance if you receive an incorrect or damaged item you may return the item back to us and we will credit you for shipping provided you are exchanging the item for something else. If you return the item and do not intend to exchange it then we do not credit you back for return shipping charges nor the original shipping charges and you may be subject to a 15% restocking fee also.
Please NOTE: We cannot reimburse shipments for orders/exchanges from Alaska or Hawaii as the costs are too prohibitive. If you intend to exchange a sword and you are from Alaska or Hawaii please call 1-877-704-3600 for detailed instructions.
Please NOTE we do NOT sell our swords to be used for cutting purposes and hold no legal responsibility for ANYONE doing such. Our swords are also NOT warrantied in any way for damage done to them via cutting exercises, etc.
Please note you MUST have returned all items within 30 days of your order arrival or we cannot accept the return. There will be a 15% restocking fee for all returns unless you are exchanging the item because something was wrong with it. If there is a problem with your sword we MUST be contacted within 5 days of your receipt of the sword for it to be allowed to be exchanged. If you contact us after that date you may not be able to return a damaged sword.
Please note: MINOR imperfections are on almost ALL swords as most swords come from the forges in Asia. MINOR imperfections are NOT considered damaged swords and will be subject to 15% restocking fees if returned due to a minor imperfection.
Damaged swords are swords that arrive with a chip or scratch marks on the blade or scabbard. (As infrequent as that is it does occur on occasion and we will return or exchange the sword for you in the event that it does).
Please note there is a 15% restocking fee on any Thaitsuki, Dynasty or Imperial Forge orders placed that are later cancelled as these orders are prepaid by us directly to the forges. While we do our very best to estimate arrival times from the forges, as some are coming from Asia and delays will often occur as well as delays at customs while in the United States.
Please NOTE: Price discounts or coupon code discounts are NOT allowed on Dynasty Forge line swords unless approved via our 877-704-3600 toll free order line.
Please NOTE: We cannot reimburse shipments for orders/exchanges from Alaska or Hawaii as the costs are too prohibitive. If you intend to exchange a sword and you are from Alaska or Hawaii please call 1-877-704-3600 for detailed instructions.
We are charged 15% restocking fees by the forge and we must pass them along for any cancelled orders that we have already placed with the Thaitsuki, Dynasty or Imperial forges.
Our website does NOT include up-to-date inventory as we carry over 400+ swords and it is simply not possible to account for all swords at all times. There is a 15% cancellation fee for orders cancelled after being placed to cover our processing costs. Our system is automated and orders are placed immediately with upon being received. If you "e;replace"e; your original order with another order of comparable value we will waive the 15% processing fee.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
If you place an order for an out of stock item you will be contacted soon after your order was placed (usually within 72 hours) to notify you of that fact. You may request a cancellation of your order at that time by calling us at 1-877-704-3600 or emailing us at help@swordsoftheeast.com. You must leave a voice message or send us an email specifying CLEARLY that you are cancelling your order or your order will remain as an open order and will be shipped to you when it arrives in stock.
If you later decide you do not want the sword after it is shipped you will be responsible for the 15% restocking fee. Please do NOT under any circumstances place another order if you have been told your item is out of stock. Contact us to let us know what you would like instead and we will adjust your payment up or down accordingly based upon your new selection. Placing a new order will be processed as all other orders by our fulfillment center as a brand new order.
Please understand that these guidelines are in place to as a necessary precaution against frivolous purchasing and returning of weapons for the sake of “trying them out”. All returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Damage in Shipping
If your shipment arrives from the carrier and appears damaged in transit, please contact the shipper directly within 5 days to start an investigation. You will be given instructions on how to proceed with a claim. This is beyond our control and the carriers we use are very quick to handle any claims they deem to be their responsibility. Do not ship the item back to Swords of the East, as the carrier will not honor the claim once it's re-shipped.
Faulty Products
Every effort is made to insure our products arrive free from defects in material and /or workmanship. Make sure to examine your product on delivery for any such defects not related to shipping. If defects are found and reported to us within 5 days of delivery, we will exchange that item at no additional cost to you if we receive the items within 30 days of delivery, unused, and in their original packaging. Please contact us for assistance prior to returning any product atservice@swordsoftheeast.com.
Other Returns
All unwanted items may be returned at your expense (including the cost of initial shipping from our warehouse that we may have given for free), and you will incur a 15% restocking fee.We are not obligated to accept returns of unwanted product submitted to us more than 14 days from the date of original delivery to the customer.
Returns must be in original condition, packaging, and received within 28 days of the date of purchase. Any custom orders or items discontinued may not be returned for any reason. Please contact us for authorization prior to any return shipping and we will be happy to assist you in any way possible. Please allow up to 28 days for the processing of your return. We will respect your wishes as to an exchange, SOTE store credit, or full refund of the purchase price and any applicable taxes.
Legal Disclaimer, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnity Agreement
By purchasing any item sold by Swords of the East, the buyer expressly warrants that he/she is in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding the purchase, ownership, and use of the item. It shall be the buyer's responsibility to comply with all Federal, State and Local laws governing the sale of any items listed, illustrated, or sold. The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Swords of the East, for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, or use of the item in violation of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws or regulations.Weapons will not be sold to individuals under the age of 18 without permission or consent of a parent or guardian.
Please remember Swords of The East sells swords for collector and decorative purposes and we do NOT recommend using our swords for anything else. We do NOT WARRANTY our swords used for cutting purposes nor do we recommend it as this can be very dangerous for obvious reasons.
Swords of The East cannot be held liable in anyway for accidents or injury relating to use of our swords in any way as we only recommend our swords be purchased for collecting or decorative purposes.

A. By purchasing goods from our website, Purchaser agrees to use product in legal and appropriate manner in his/her state and jurisdiction. Purchaser represents himself as of valid legal age to own swords, is of legal mind, and is intending to use items purchased in a legal manner at ALL times. Billing information and payment type will be provided via legal means, from purchaser with legal right to purchase, purchaser shall be no less than 18 yrs of age or of legal age in the area the order is being ordered and or shipped. Swords of The East will be held harmless at all times for use of swords by purchaser who fails any aspect of purchasing criteria.
B. Purchaser agrees to assume full responsibility for compliance with all current and future applicable state and federal laws and regulations in regard to proper and legal use of product by himself or others. Including the legalities of the item(s) ordered. We may not be held responsible for illegal or inappropriate use of product, including but not limited to damages resulting from improper use, illegal use, use by minor representing himself as adult, etc.
C. Our Website may not be duplicated in any way, and our images may NOT be used in any manner without full consent of Swords of The East.
D. Purchaser shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Vendor from/against loss, damages, penalties, fines, cost or expenses including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred as a result of any damage or injury to persons (including death) or property resulting from their transaction with us.
