I was very impressed on the quality of the Musashi Wind Dragon Sword's slashing ability!

As I was looking through my choices to find a katana that was withing my price range without sacrificing quality, I must say I was a little nervous about buying one of these fabled swords for less than $100. I had read on various sites the kind of quality you can expect from katanas priced such as this one, but at the same time I had heard nothing but good comments about this site and the swords it provides. I was first reassured when I read about the return policy, more so when, not long after I made the purchase, they sent me a link with the tracking number so I could follow it across the U.S. Now, I must say, I have to give credit to UPS for this one, going from Nashville Tennessee to Oklahoma City is quite a drive for one day, yet they did it. When I got the sword, I was delighted to find not just a plain cardboard box holding the katana, but a beautifuly detailed red oriental hinged case, with a yellow silk-lined interior with my katana resting snugly inside. The sword itself was a completely unexpected treasure, nothing about it suggested a sword of inferior quailty. The blade was secure in my grip, with nothing loose or rattling about. While the saya is matte black instead of the lacquered finish I'm partial to, it in no way subtracted to the elegance of the blade. The tsuba was just as detailed as the picture provides. While it lacked the Musashi brand on the habaki, everything else was exactly what I was expecting and more. I highly recommend this katana to anyone starting a collection, or like me, looking for a sword to continue your training when a bokken simply isn't enough anymore. A word of warning, though...when they say the blade is razor sharp, they mean it! This is in no way a toy sword, a wrong step could easily kill or cause serious injury. That said, the Musashi Wind Dragon is an excellent sword, and I'll be returning soon for my next purchase!
