If you are just starting your own sword collection, or want to buy something that you can feel comfortable "using" for cutting practice... You really are getting a good bargain with any Musashi blade. This IMHO is the perfect entry level Katana. It is hardy, yet elegant. It doesn't attempt to look like something it is not cheesy faux finishes etc).
All ofthe Musashi Swords in this category are functionally the same from what I understand, only the tsuba is the real difference.
This one is of a Tomoe symbol, which is similar in many ways to the Yin Yang, and can be shown as a swirl, or swirling orbs.
This sword needs regular care from at least a basic sword care kit (Or at least some mobile 1 synthetic and a soft cloth after cleaning).
Handling: Light good balance for a cutter with a little bite in the stroke, but still responsive and forgiving of mistakes.
Durability: Light cutting practice on suitable coreless targets or soft wet saplings up to 2 inches thick have been my targets since day one. Has not yet needed any repair or sharpening (granted I have decent form and keep my edge straight in a cut) but my friend who is a more novice student hasn't damaged it with poor form on saplings up to 1 inch in diameter or proper targets.
The tsuka is fairly well constructed, however the friction fit is what I consider "too tight" and I do not recommend disassembling unless something needs repair.
The wrap is of decent quality for cotton blend and has held up fine under regular use.
The blade has a Fairly aggressive Bo Hi and will sing and hiss loudly for you if you keep your blade level in a cut and will definately encourage you!
I have not personally attempted any destruction testing, but have seen these blades bent pretty far almost as much as my Angel sword), and have seen them return true. (still bad for the sword)
Biggest complaint I have is the saya had some sawdust in it... BAD for storage!
