The Japanese swords of the Imperial Collection are made of specially forged 1050 spring steel, heat tempered by master smiths to produce high quality forged blades that outperform the competition. The Imperial Sword Collection represents traditional samurai weapons made in "the way of the sword". These tools bring cutting power, strength, and authentic features that have exceeded the expectations of the marital arts community. Every sword blade created is a true battle ready samurai weapon that has been has been hand forged, heat treated, tempered and then polished by skilled hands in the Japanese tradition.The Tsuba, Kashira and Fuchi are expertly crafted from black iron. The Habaki is also hand made, using polished brass. Every Tsuka is hand covered in authentic ray skin then tightly wrapped in a traditional cross-over style green cord Ito. Producing blades of this quality takes craftsmanship and time, and the Imperial Collection can be difficult to acquire.
