Upon using this katana against punishing test of my own, You can cut many and all types of Bamboo, pass any sword and Samurai test and competitions, and against weaker Swords and even katanas .... Yes you can cut weaker and other swords including weaker katanas in halves and even thirds. At a resent Samurai reenactment I used this very same sword and againts my foes I did in fact cut there katanas in half, Then I did have to bid them my sorry and try and make it right but still this sword can destroy and cut through other katanas. I came in First Place at the samurai Competitions and Sword training I go to as well. It can cut wood, (of course) but also some steels like pipe and other swords and It will almost Gareentee you that you will win any competition you enter.
