The Sivrat family first obtains the finest quality high carbon Japanese steel to produce their Musashi Katana, which is forged in the Japanese Nihonto tradition. This forging process and hard-won mastery of tempering steel produces a functional katana with more flexibility, strength and sharp-edge durability than most competitors in the marketplace. Features: The tsuka (handle) is authentic same' (ray skin) and the Tsuka Ito (wrap) is black leather, also available in brown leather (sepcial order, please inquire). The Menuki, Kashira and Fuchi (sword fittings) are all hand crafted in 92.5% silver. The natural oxidization process creates a gorgeous antique-looking patina over time. A black, matte-finished premium saya protects your investment. The Musashi Katana, which can be completely disassembled for full maintenance, is a fully functional Japanese katana, not a replica.
