The Sivrat family first obtains the finest quality high carbon Japanese steel to produce their Kumori Katana, which is forged in the oldest tradition in Japanese swordmaking, the Yamato Nihonto tradition.

Features: The tsuka (handle) is authentic same' (ray skin) and the Tsuka Ito (wrap) is golden brown Japanese silk.


The Menuki, Kashira and Fuchi (sword fittings) are all hand crafted in 99% silver. The natural oxidization process creates a gorgeous antique-looking patina over time.


A black lacquered hardwood saya with black horn Koiguchi enhances your investment. The Kumori Katana, which can be completely disassembled for full maintenance, is a fully functional Japanese katana samurai sword, not a replica.
