We are proud to introduce the Q-801 katana by Zhou Zheng Wu (Chris Zhou). Zhou Zheng Wu is one of the finest sword smiths in China. His opus " Han Wu Sword " is regarded as being representative of the only opus in the China area and was selected for merit and held in Macao Art Museum. His "Han Wu Sword" has been ranked # 1 in the well known "Masters of Fire" competition. Zhou Zheng Wu was born in Longquan city. Longquan has been making swords for the last 2500 years and is considered one of the best sword making cities in world.

With this in his blood he began learning the art of sword forging from his father. He has forged swords for some of China's top officials including Wu Lan Fu (the former Vice Chairman), and Xi Zhongxun (the Deputy Prime Minister). Currently he is the curator of the Longquan Zheng Wu Sword Forging Institute and for the Longquan Sword Museum. The Q-801 blade is forged with a technique of stacking layers of steel. The yakiba is crafted with a hand forged high carbon steel edge and is embedded into a middle carbon steel shinogi producing an HRC57 edge and HRC45 back.

The Fittings are made of brass and it comes with a ray skin wrapped handle. Each sword is individually hand forged and polished by skilled hands creating a true battle ready weapon. Availability: Usually ships in 4-5 business days.
