The Practical Pro Elite Katana has been enhanced due to customer demand for an extended tsuka and loger, thicker blade (now 29"). The blade has been differentially tempered using traditional claying techniques, and is forged of 1065 high-carbon steel which is finished in a finer polish than what you'd expect from a practical sword. The enhanced tsuka is double pegged for safety and strength, and features a genuine rayskin same' covered in a tightly braided black suede leather, giving a superb grip.


A beautifully laquered black saya accompanies the sword which is enhanced by a black Japanese sageo of cotton. The fittings are all done in a great-looking black antiqued iron. Most notable is the round Kuruma tsuba, which symbolizes the Noble Eightfold Path, a Buddhist principle represented here by its "wheel of dharma" design.
