Of all the legendary characters in Japanese legend, Saito Musashibo Benkei may very well be the embodiment of loyalty and strength. Benkei was a Sohei, or warrior monk, who was known to have a giant sword fitting for his giant stature and is a popular character in Kabuki and Noh drama. Inspired by the legends of this pole-sword, Dynasty Forge has set to create a fitting reproduction suitable for the giants of today. Hand-forged from 1095 high-carbon steel, clay-tempered and machine polished.
